I used it last year. I liked the blood sport stand but I bought a lone wolf assault at the end of the year last year and started using that. It's a little easier to hang. The blood sport was a Lyle more comfortable. Either will work fine.

With the way the LW sticks are made to fit into the LW stand and everything Lone Wolf being made in the USA,...I stick to all LW. That doesn't mean that the muddy wont be right for you though, I'm sure you could lash and bungee those sticks on there just as tight on a Bloodsport and you would be pleased. Muddy makes great products but personally, anytime I am confront with a choice with all things being relatively equal, I always support the US economy.

When I used that setup I laid the sticks on their side and held them on with cinch straps. They stayed in place and never was a problem.

Great point on laying them sideways. In fact Im thinking of going flat even with my current LW setup. I think the flatter profile while help me bushwhack easier without hanging up so much.

ok thanks guys I have LW stands an assault and alpha I also have a bloodsport and about 9 muddy sticks and 7 LW just get so frustrated with the LW buckle I know guys cover them with stuff but I feel like that would cause a safety issue if it put any pressure on the buckle causeing it to slip wish someone would come out with a cast stand with the rope system and sticks the ropes are awesome!!!!

I cut pieces of stealth strips to fit on my buckles. I have used the bicycle inner tubes also around the buckles but they squeak sometimes when I'm loosening or tightening the strap. I prefer the stealth strips.
When I put the stealth strips on I just cut individual little pieces to fit each side of the buckle and center. I held the stealth strip with the paper backing still on it, up against the buckle and traced it with a pen on the paper. Then cut out the pieces with scissors. They've been on there for about three years and I hang my stand and take it down around 40 times a year. They look the same as the day I put them on. If anyone is interested in seeing what they look like I'll post pics tomorrow.

Also if you do a search on AT or YouTube, I think there are how to vids on how to make ropes for your sticks and stand to replace the straps.

The straps don't bother me though, I like em.
