Ridges or fingers

Unread postby RidgeReaper » Fri Oct 31, 2014 5:47 am

If you have a ridge running east and west at about 950ft elevation which slopes gradually on one side to about 650ft and shoots out into multiple fingers all running Northward and the backside drops pretty steep to a valley...would you beasts hunt the leeward ridge top or down lower along the fingers? The ridgetop is about a half to 3/4 mile above the bean fields.

Hard to tell without an image or topo, but if there are fingers on one side and a steep drop on the other maybe you can hunt each side with the right wind?

Hunt the finger with the thickest cover leading to food.
