bedding area reuse???
I have pics of a decent buck coming in the same way a buck I killed in 2008 did and the same areas are hit with rubs and scraps.Same trails also being used,if a buck is killed from a area will another buck take over a bedding area?I know where the buck used to bed and its not on the property I hunt its on the adjacent property. One time we went in tracking anther deer(with owners permission) and I found the bedding are and set up on him that season and killed him.I suspect this buck is using the same bedding area,I cant get on the property to check nor do I want to.Would I be smart to just set up the same way I killed the last one from that area?

Re: bedding area reuse???
I would. The dominate buck will take the best bedding spot and if you killed a buck off that bed before, you can bet other bucks will take it over.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Yes absolutely. Good beds will get reused.
If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.

Yes, the deer will use the same area and move into that bed. Sounds like a great location and should produce year after year. That's one of those golden areas that Andre talks about on Hill Country DVD.

Re: bedding area reuse???
I have bedding areas I hunt that I have taken multiple big bucks from... One bed I killed a good gun buck out of 5 out of the last 6 years on opening day.
