22 mph wind in the forecast. Is it worth it?

Supposed to head up to the cabin tomorrow in Marinette County but its supposed to be 22mph wind. Is it worth heading up? or should I save the gas money?

Are you talking 22 mph gusts or is that the constant? Are they predicting gusts over 22 mph?
Overall, if you can't afford to miss many hunting days, (aka not much vacation or time off) I would go regardless. The weather man is not always right.

Seems to me that perfect conditions rarely exist for a long stretch of days this time of year. It's always something, to warm, windy, etc....I'd hunt

I like hunting when it's windy....your movement is masked more and your scent isn't lingering the way it is when there's a gentle breeze. I've seen some great bucks this time of year in windy weather.

Killed quite a few nice bucks in 20 MPH winds. Get into the thick bush and hunt. The big boys move around in the thick stuff in heavy winds. I prefer wind over calm any day of the week.

You have to remember places like Iowa are always windy and they kill a lot of big bucks
