Might be a dumb question, but in the middle of the picture, there is a clearing with what looks like trails when you zoom in closely. Are these likely trails or just some other geographical feature? I've never had boots on the ground to confirm.
Are these trails?

Re: Are these trails?
To me it looks like a muck hole with muskrat paths/ deer trails through it. It could have deer and/or buck bedding on it if it is remote enough and there is not much water elsewhere.

Man, thats hard to see in there. You might have to do a little on the ground recon to find out.

It looks to me like a water hole with grass growing in it. I inspected a lot of spots that look just like this on aerials and that's what I found.

given how small that wetland is i'd say they are not trails, there might be one or two crossing it, but i doubt that many deer trails would be crossing that wetland... i might be wrong,
still i'd look at it, i bet there's a heavy trail on one or two sides of it, the SE looks like a alder thicket ...bedding area

Happiness is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it, so with that happiness is a choice one can consciously make, although often challenged by what happens to us, it is a choice nonetheless.

I'm thinking water also. If you're using google earth, there is a clock in the tool bar. This will allow you to see aerials from different years. Sometimes the older black and white photos show water the best.
