I am going to the mountains this weekend and will only be up to hunt one morning. I have hunted this place one time before but have not been able to scout much. I don't know if you can tell anything from these maps but what looks like a good area to you? The markers on the map mean nothing I just did not know how to erase them.

I appreciate it Justin. I'm like a kid on Christmas today. I can't wait to get on that land tomorrow and hunt and then maybe do some scouting for future hunts.

I really appreciate your time. One of the circles you made is exactly where I am going in the morning. That verifies what I needed to know. Thanks again. By the way wasn't there a thread on this forum about reading topo maps?

Not being humble but don't let my circle verify anything, I really am an amateur at best on maps. Anyways there are one great threads on here about topo reading. I know bow hunter 15 does sone great YouTube video and I believe some talk about maps.
report your finding s from tomorrow! !

Re: Look at these maps and give your advice
I walked in a little bit after daylight and jumped a deer right around 75 yards of where I was going to climb. I could not tell what it was all I saw was a brown body and white tail. Thanks for the help again guys.
