Who do you listen to?
I recently saw a bumped topic by Dewey about great Fred Bear quotes and it got me thinking- who else, besides HB guys do you read or listen to on deer hunting? Who inspires you or has helped you make a significant improvement(s) or helped you take your skills to the next level?
I'm thinking especially in terms of people the public would have access to (as opposed to your uncle Murry who is awesome but the rest of us will never meet or get to talk to.)
Also- feel free to include people related to other topics (other game or even general outdoorsman-ship).

Re: Who do you listen to?
I listen to anyone that knows more about a subject than I do. For instance if I want to learn about hill hunting I listen to guys that hunt hill country. I'm a hard sell on most things. So I tiptoe around until I find a guy that knows his onions. The Beast is a great place to pick peoples brains. So much to learn.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

All of Mark Kenyons podcasts

X2! There is a ton of information between the lines. Its the best thing out there IMHO. Only thing better would be face-to-face conversations with some of his guests.

Re: Who do you listen to?
I have learned a heap from a whole lot of hunters. No one person comes to mind...inevitably it seems almost all celeb hunters become corrupted by their fame. i think its addictive like cocaine.
I have learned a heap from the guys on here. Three years ago before finding the beast I would have laughed at you if you had said there was a deer hunting internet forum this knowledgeable.

I like buckys answer. Tons of valuable information shared on the pod cast. Hard to beat this forum though. Just tons of great hunters who are willing to share great ideas and tactics to help one another.

Anyone who hunts. I strongly believe that you can learn something from everyone. I consider myself very open minded and plan on staying that way.

Re: Who do you listen to?
Bobby Worthington, Dan Infalt, Andrae D'Aquisto, Benoits, Eberhart, Greg Miller.
These guys can get it done on public land.
You could make a pretty strong case for Jarred Sheffler, the Whitetail Adrenaline crew gets on as many big bucks on public as anyone in the industry.
Those are the guys who are 'publicly known' that come to mind.

No Shortcuts. No Excuses. No Regrets.
