Just saw this thread. These would be great for late season pheasant hunting too. On those days when the dogs are running around on top of the snow but you keep breaking through every third step.

Used them for the first time yesterday. They work awesome! The spots where I was sinking up to my knees in mud before, I now only sink a few inches and there is no suction. I could pull my boots out easily. I give them a thumbs up!

Would these work in the quick mud type stuff on the edge of rivers? I nearly lost a boot over the weekend!
