Last year it was very sporadic early (Nov1-3). Didn’t see any Bucks for the first three days and then Nov 4-7 was good. I had to leave on Nov 8th. Trail cameras showed activity good all the way through gun season with the peak being about Nov 7th. I only have a 1 year sampling period so who knows.

Up there I would say Nov 5-12 may be better for you. My experience up in that area was later was always better even more so if you get north of Hwy 8.

I am going 6-16. We have tried going the week before and it really bites having to leave as things are ramping up...

That was me last year. I was off 7 days and only the last 3-4 were decent.

I could always shift it back a day and do Nov 4-11. That might be the best of both worlds.

Nov 3-7 off work, hoping to find some cruisers since I'll be hunting new ground.

There are some big deer starting to drop here in Indiana, I also just took a 30 mile drive down the highway and saw 2 dead yearling bucks and 3 fawns. I would typically say the second week of November, but I'm going to take a couple days each week, depending on the forecast.
