So these two classifications are pretty self explanatory. Unless you are both a senior and non-resident. Then which one? This would be for a Texas resident hunting in Michigan.
I've been given two different answers at a store. The website will let you buy either.
Anyone on here have actual experience?
To add to the complication…this person owns a home in Michigan, but has a Texas drivers license. He is retired and lives in both places. Technically, that makes him a "non-resident" for Michigan.
Michigan - Senior AND Non-resident … which license to buy?

Re: Michigan - Senior AND Non-resident … which license to bu
The DNR website further defines the "Base Senior" license to be a "resident senior" but I can't find the requirements for residency.
It says owning property by itself does not qualify you for the resident license. Fine…what does?
I emailed the DNR on the contact page. Waiting for a response.
