I second the GPS if you don't already have one. Worth every penny. Buy your wife a really sweet pistol, but make sure it's one you really want.

Wait until the end of the year, all of the wooltimate, outfitters wool and berber fleece clothing goes on clearance for half off and you can get some really nice wool and wind proof outer layers for super cheap. not the best stuff out there but when you can get a coat, sweater and pants or bibs all for 200.00 or less and they replace it if anything goes wrong, hard to beat for cold weather gear!! then use the rest to replace the things you used this season and you will still have enough left over for a GPS which also go on sale or clearance often, or a pair of waders for the really wet stuff  My 2cents

I like to stock up on broad heads and arrows if they carry them the little stuff you use every year always adds up.

But the new map pack from Garmin sold through Cabela's. Comes as a topo/aerial with all your state's mature buck beds pre-loaded. For an extra few bucks you can get the elite package that correlates the bedding with prevailing wind directions for the area.

Gun.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I would splurge on some high quality base layers if you hunt in cold weather. Also good rain gear is great to have on wet days and a ghillie suit if you like hunting on the ground.
