Another thread in the equipment section got me thinking about this....Who is still using LW climbing sticks of years past? Just thought it would be fun to see how old everyone's sticks are and how long they have lasted.
I was thinking yesterday that I have been using my current set of 4 sticks since 2005! I've used them hard since that time too. I remember buying them back then to get in those trees that a climber wouldn't get in. I switched and never looked back I think the length of time I've had them in service is a testament to the original Lone Wolf build quality.

I have a set of three that are close to 20 years old, if not older They are pre versa button and utilize a hook system. Bought the sticks and stand (also hook attachment) at the Green Bay Deer Classic sometime in the mid 90s.

Years ago I saw an ad for Lone Wolf camo sticks and stand. I was thinking about them the other day. So I proceeded to flip through a stack of old Outdoor magazines looking for the ad. Then I searched the internet, nothing. Thought mabey I only imagined that there was such a thing. So I'm not going crazy.

Square tubes and hollow steps.... I would have to pull the sticks to see what steps are on it, I am thinking the originals got swapped out because they broke during testing and then were made beefier before being sold to the public.

I still have my first set must be 15+ years old silver square tubes. Andrae instructed me to cut a hole in them so they would stack with the next models.
