I know now

Unread postby Thermals » Sun Sep 28, 2014 10:06 am

Well trying out the Marc Anthony suit today as we speak and all I can say is good luck. I have made so much noise trying to sneak thru the woods it is unreal, it will pick up anything and everything. It may be a good fit for just sitting and waiting on the ground. So I give it a D

I think Marc got an F earlier this year.

They are not designed to wear while walking in or out of your hunting spot. I roll mine up inside out and strap to my pack.

Ghillie suits are not ideal to sneak around with. Better to walk in with it packed.

Wearing a ghillie through brush is an exercise in frustration. Carry in your pack, once setup put it on. No problem at all then.

Curious Neil, why two?
Any particular pattern better than the other, say for more woodlands...?

I have the sapper kill suit, the first one I bought was the strip suit in desert grassland color, I thought it would blend in well with tan cattails and marsh grass...and it does later in the year.

This year I bought a string sapper kill suit in woodlands camo. This suit has more green and I feel it blends in better early season. The string suit is heavier than the strip suit.
