Just found his "trap" video and he says this setup is ideal since the wind is typically out of N/NW. Here on the HB we wouldn't expect bedding on these points unless there is a predominately East wind(N/NE-S/SE)

Hmmm ya that's interesting, I have heard him say just the opposite on one of his building buck bed vids... He talks how the bucks bed on the military crest, with the wind coming over their back...
