Don't waste your money. If you want earth scent roll around on the ground for awhile.

Re: scent wafers?
Today I smelled like dirt and marsh muck on stand and I didn't see anything.

Re: scent wafers?
I had some to test quite a few years ago. They did not work for me.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I rub walnuts and dead squirrels all over myself. Then I paint myself with charcoal cuz of the carbon. That's how the Indians did it...

Re: scent wafers?
The only thing I can see wafers helping, are building the confidence of those who "think" they work.
If a buck catches wind to smell that wafer, he can smell the hunter!!

Re: scent wafers?
One of the many reasons my wife hates that I hunt....all of my hunting gear smells like earth scent wafers. I wish I would have saved my money, those dumb things aren't cheap.

Re: scent wafers?
I rub blacked walnuts on myself when my hunting clothes start to get stinky after hunting a couple days in a row, it's more for my benefit.

Unlike the others I use them and like them. They seem to help fool some of the young non target deer on occasion which keeps me from being busted and alarming the deer I'm after. No other earth scent or other cover scent I have tried appeared to work and some appeared to be detrimental to the hunt. But you need to go through a scent reducing routine to have them even give you a chance with those younger deer IMO which is something I often don't bother doing. Just don't count on them. If you catch yourself doing something you wouldn't normally do without the cover scent then it's time to quit using it.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: scent wafers?
I've never noticed a difference in using them or not while hunting, but I love the smell of the Fresh Earth ones, and they end up being my air "fresheners" in my truck throughout the season

Re: scent wafers?
I have used an estrous wafer as a downwind cover scent during rifle season under the illusion it might buy me that extra second that I was needing to pull the trigger. The result was, immediate, with 15 minutes I had two seperate bucks come from the standing sunflowers directly downwind of my location. Never expected this. The bucks were dinks, 100"ish so maybe that says something.

Re: scent wafers?
I have never used them, but on more than one occasion I have found them hanging from a sapling in the woods. Always ticks me off when people leave their junk behind. Those and scent wicks.
