Yes have mine on now in the stand. I also use a 3/4 pull up neck gator that is light weight. Otherwise I think you face sticks out in the stand with it not covered

On really cold days I use a fleece neck gaiter to pull up over my face. keeps the neck warm too.

No, unless in extreme cold. Used to wear one for concealment years ago then stopped and I don't think the deer noticed lol.
