Wis. Opening weather

Just checked the weather forcast for our opener, High of 62° around the fox valley. Woo Hooo :mrgreen: Might be high water with all the storms we are getting though.

I was wondering how far out they can accurately predict prevailing wind direction.
If it bleeds, we can kill it . . . .

Hard to believe season is just around the corner. Ours does not start until October 1st. The DNR did make some changes and good ones I think.

January antlerless season was eliminated. (this is a big one)

Antlerless deer quotas were reduced.

Only antlered deer may be harvested
during first shotgun and early muzzleloader
seasons in 27 counties in northwest
Iowa.

Crossbow is now a legal method of take
during the late muzzleloader season for
resident hunters.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
