Do you carry a camera?
Just wondering how many guys lug camera "gear" in. I always have my Sony Nex camera and a little bitty tripod, but never any video equipment.
What about you? Maybe just a phone camera, gopro, full video gear, etc?

Re: Do you carry a camera?
Always have a phone camera. I like to get at least a couple of stand pics every sit and do some screen captures of my go to weather and moon sites. I save them down by day/sit. Nice little photo journal at the end of the year too. I try to keep a written journal, but never keep up on it as much as I would like, but this has been a good middle ground for me to document my season.
Take my Canon DSLR out probably 25% of the time too.

I carry my Nikon DSLR with me about 75% of the time.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Occasional guy here. I plan to carry it more this year than years past.
I also plan to do a better job of document my preseason scouting next year. It will be nice to review footage of surrounding prior to hunting it.

I carry a little waterproof point&shoot. It's a Olympus 1050 I think. It goes with me every time.

Re: Do you carry a camera?
I have had a camera that slips into my shirt pocket for the last few years now . Wish I'd a had it years earlier , couldn't tell you how many missed opportunities I've had .
I've always felt fortunate to see some of the things that I have but they're easier to share if you have picks to support what your claiming

I've got a flip=phone with a camera but that doesn't really count...I often carry a cheap little Canon.

Re: Do you carry a camera?
I always have my phone which takes way nicer pictures than most point and shoots. But I sometimes will carry a small point and shoot that takes SD cards. That way if I come upon someone's trail cam I can throw their card in my camera, see what's on it and put it right back in their camera. Shhhh.....
Now this year, my wife got a new camera for her photography business so I'll have access to her old Cannon 7D DSLR. She only has portrait lenses so I'll have to find a decent telephoto lens but I do plan to take it a couple times this year. Especially during our early doe-only season.

Re: Do you carry a camera?
Always, to me the photos that I can look back at are as important as anything else in the hunt. Looking back through pictures I took 10 years ago always makes me smile, that's reason enough for me to keep carrying it.
