Been glassing some pretty nice bucks, on Saturday night I glassed the biggest buck to date for me, he looked to be pretty darn close to 190 real wide and real tall.

Been shining a little, seeing many 2 yr old 8 pts all over. Also a few that are a lot bigger. Not all on land that i can hunt, but close by. My best lead is a big mature looking buck that i shined, feeding about 400 yards from a couple buck beds i scouted this spring.

I've been getting quiet a few bucks on my cams, but this is the only really good one so far.

^^^Good grief that is a beast. Biggest buck I have seen while glassing (shining is illegal here in IL) is a 2.5 yr old that I saw on nearly every hunt last year when he was 1.5. Hoping he stays so visible for me in about 2-3 more years!

I have spotted a few big ones driving around and glassing bean fields here in Iowa tonight. Nothing like seeing a bachelor group of 6 to 8 bucks and three 150 class and over... unreal. never gets old.

Not aloud to shine here in TN. The area I hunt is all hardwoods. The sign is right and I am really looking forward to this season.

i have two places that are the exact opposites of each other, on place A i see bucks all summer and they disappear when october hits, on place B i wont see a buck till september and by then i am covered up with them.

bad thing is that my #1 target is on place A, and has been for going on 4 seasons now, never seen him in person and he's never been on camera between october and march...my avatar is him from last summer

i may have finally found his trail and bedding area though, we;ll see what the cameras show over the next few weeks
