I have noticed the same patterns with cold fronts as he described. Prior to the rut, the deer feed heavily just before a cold front arrives. During pre rut through post rut, seems like more activity happens just as a cold front is leaving.

Amen to that! Not that most can get into the woods at anytime they want...but I really feel there are times that can be keyed on to keep your odds at a high level, every time you enter the woods.
