How many deer do you kill in a year? (poll)

Just wondering how many deer you guys like to harvest in a years time. I personally will only eat one, but no one else at my house really eats much venison....

We very very rarely buy beef, 2.5 deer will get us through the year and the other 1/2 goes to jerky.

5 will last us a yr... we just ran out from last yr.. we seldom buy meat... I fill freezer with geese rabbits squirrel fish n venison n the whole family loves it

Between 7 and 10 per year. We will eat 4 as a family, I take the others to folks that want them or donate to HUSH.

Between wild hogs, deer, crappie, walleye we shouldn't need to buy meat at the store but ribeyes do taste good...

2, I save my 3rd and final buck tag for something large because two is all i can feasibly eat... So i never fill it lol

I try and kill one buck, I don't care if I get doe or not. My step dad usually kills a couple deer a year and I help him eat it.

I normally kill 1 or 2 bucks a year. I could kill lots more does but really don't want to. Save some for the next guy. I haven't killed a 1.5 year old buck for over 35 years. Back then the deer numbers were way down and it was considered an accomplishment to take any buck with a bow. After killing that buck it didn't feel like an accomplishment to me. So I just didn't kill smaller bucks after that. I feel the same way about killing a doe. Just doesn't trip my trigger, so I don't do it.
