First doe down.

Unread postby UPbowhunter » Sun Sep 12, 2010 5:08 am

Well our season kicked off here this morning. About 8:14 I was able to double lung a mature doe. After a longer than normal track job for a double lunger it was time to give thanks, remember what this day will allways mean to us from now on, and do a little celebrating. Buck tag earned, tonight will find me close to a buck bed, or a watering hole depending on our wind its supossed to switch at 3pm. It has been very dry here and I have seen many deer walk thru beans, and accorns to get to water first, in the evenings.

New Jersey! You would be surprized how good the hunting is here Black. Where I hunt they introduced wisconsin deer in the 60s and the deer have cross bread with these swamp deer. When they get their age there are some slammers.
