Like sand paper grip tape?? You won't need it the stand itself provides a very good grip. Pony up the $20 bucks and get the stealth strips. ITs super stuff and the fella that sells it is a super guy.

The sticks and buckles definitely silencing work, I used Stealth Strips and highly recommend them.

At a minimum put the stealth strips on the sticks. The stand doesnt need them as bad as the sticks do.
