Stand identification

Unread postby straubam » Sat Jul 19, 2014 7:56 am

I put this here cause it will probably get answered faster and I am going to buy this in the next day or two. Craiglist post has this stand listed for 125. What I need to know is what brand and model and is it worth it. I know it's a lw by the platford but what brand? He tried to tell me it was a real tree stand but that's because it doesn't have te correct seat. Tks guys

Looks like a Lone Wolf Hand Climber... retail would be $300+

I'm not a fan of the hand climber... but $125 is a reasonable price used

Yup and that sure is a great deal. A climber can be nice in certain spots. I have one in addition to my Alpha and Assault for spots when I want to cut back on weight and set up time.

X2. I actually bought one used a few years back that was basically brand new for a little under that price. I don't use it a super amount but it is great to have. I used it on a gun hunt two years ago, killed a nice mature 8 point. They are very light and IMO super easy to climb straight trees. I have a spot picked out for the rut that I already have the spot marked on the climber where to attach it at so I can get out there in the dark and know exactly where it goes to be at the perfect diameter.
