Step ladder. Perfect. Id go stash one nearby in the woods now after I had it sit in the rain a few days. Id wait for a fairly breezy day and get in there to kill him!

Sneak in with some bad weather. Kill him from the ground.

That is what I was thinking. A little wind or rain for sound cover and creep in there and shootem.

If he is home the day you do it, and do it with some wind or rain, getting within 30 yards shouldn't be impossible. Getting the shot off will be the tricky part. Give that some thought and visualize that a bit.

I'd probably try to kill him from the ground too. If it's really that thick and difficult to get to, it probably will only get better with the pressure from gun season, so that could be an option also.

Bucks choose there bedding areas to survive... They choose spots that are very difficult to almost impossible to kill them at. Our job is to figure them out like a puzzle and find the weak spot that makes him vulnerable. You need to hunt them where there at. Take your best shot. Win or loose, you will come out of it a slightly better hunter everytime you make an attempt.

I wouldn't even be in the running if it weren't for this site and the people here. For that I am appreciative. I am already a better hunter.
