THE COMEBACK | PART II - Turkey Quest (Video Project)

Unread postby Sam Ubl » Sat Jun 14, 2014 11:42 am

You may have seen the first video I produced, THE COMEBACK | PART I - Shed Season, as I posted it here back in March, as well as the preview to THE COMEBACK video series project I took on at the beginning of the year, but if not, I wanted to share it with all of you in case you can get any sort for entertainment out of it.

The name of the series, THE COMEBACK, is a representation of my good friend, Brandon "Brandy", who at the young age of 26 suffered a brain aneurism. The stroke nearly took him from my and the rest of our friends, but even harder, his wife was due to give birth to their first child within a 3-weeks of it happening. Brandy's a survivor and he pulled through. His wife gave birth in the same hospital as Brandy was laid up in and he was able to meet his new son, Hank. Within 2-months he was released from the hospital and able to join us in the woods as the season began in 2013. Brandy ended up shooting a doe with his new crossbow and then another doe in the snow. This year he's been leaving his cane at home and muscling through the limp he's developed and continues to get in the woods. THE COMEBACK | PART I - Shed Season, was an exceptional representation of Brandy overcoming the trials he's gone through lately as you get to see him and our good friend, Joe, finding dandy sheds in the deep snow this early spring. In THE COMEBACK | PART II - Turkey Quest, Brandy gets it done with a great shot on a big Tom.

I hope you enjoy the video's if you watch them! I will continue to produce this video series for the remainder of the year 2014.

Thanks for reading and hopefully watching :)

Thank you for the kind feedback, it's humbly received. I'm no pro at video editing, but it sure is fun to do. Since I cut that video I purchased a large iMac and a professional editing software that I'm anxious to learn. The next video will be of summer bucks captured while scouting from the road, in the field and on trail camera video. It will be short clips that will hopefully get your hearts beating when it's released - just a week prior to the opener of archery season ;)

Thanks for watching!
