Bowhunting world

Unread postby dan » Fri Jun 06, 2014 11:47 am

I got an August issue of Bowhunting world magazine in the mail today and since I don't subscribe I figured there must a reason... There is an article on page 48 about Whitetails and weather by mark Hicks, about 1/2 way thru the article he talks about a couple of my tactics and one of the bucks I shot.
Not worth running out and buying a magazine, but if you have the new mag, check it out.

Was Mark Hicks the author of the Sept Field and Stream article about you?

Is Bowhunting World a Grandview media publication?

If so, good to see he is still publishing your tactics.

Yes, Mark calls me quite often. I consider him a friend and I never really worry about where he is putting my info, he always aknowleges me, and shows me in a positive light. And, yes, I believe thats a Grandview publication.

I got interviewed by the editor of field and stream recently too. Not sure when the article is coming out, but it to is a shared article that is about public land tactics. I was hoping they would give me another full article, but getting in field and stream is pretty cool any which way. The F&S article asks me about the big bucks I have taken and tactics for hunting roadside sanctuary's.

Glad to see you are getting some recognition. Kudos to you. I don't get any magazines any more, but I'll probably see the article sometime.
