Just wait by July they will be growing very fast.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Re: antler watch
I've decided to wait until at least late June to early July to put out cameras this year. I get way too excited way too early. By July 1st you can start to get an idea of their size rather than guess and hope like I usually do in June.

Re: antler watch
All of my cams are going out on public this year, so I'm happy to wait until July-August unless I'm going to be out somewhere anyway and want to save the gas.

Re: antler watch
I had four bucks come up on me while turkey hunting. Few inches of antler, some starting to split at the brows.
If it bleeds, we can kill it . . . .

Re: antler watch
I saw several bucks last week starting to split brows with 4-6" of antler. Buck location is pretty variable this time of year with all the new food sources showing up every day. I won't be putting cams out till end of June, by then I can probably identify most bucks and consistently get them feeding along the edges of beans and corn fields.

Re: antler watch
Saw more antler tonight, group of 4-5 bucks while turkey hunting. Looked like small bodied deer but could see some fuzzy knobs sticking up as they ran

4th of July weekend is when I put mine out. By then you can get a pretty good idea what they are going to be.
