New rule for dividing deer for removal from the field

Unread postby Dewey » Wed Sep 01, 2010 7:45 pm

Do any of you know the details on this?
The hunting regulations say...."A rule has been proposed to allow hunters to divide a deer into as many as five pieces prior to registration to facilitate removal of the carcass from the field and may be in effect this fall.".... THAT'S IT!!
I was going to call the DNR but thought I would check here first.
At times this would make removing a deer much easier. Glad to see they are finally considering this.
