have 9 of them ranging from 125 3/8 to 160 since 1997. Have 2 others that are low 120s. The 160 is not home yet but will be around October :)

I have 4 prior to having kids when I could hunt and scout all I wanted. A 165", 147", 145", and a 139". Then kids came and work got busy and time available for hunting became pretty small. Couple that with CWD and I found myself hunting an area these past 10 years where I didn't have a deer on camera that was big enough to shoot. Not having the time to do any other scouting I was relying on years of hunting in the area to help point me in the right directions. Had a few close encounters but not enough time in the woods to close some of those deals.

Now these last couple years time is starting to become more available. A shooter or two are starting to show up in my area. My 14 year old daughter who has gun hunted since she was 10 is now ready for bow hunting. She is shooting great and pulling enough weight and I'm now comfortable with her shooting a deer with her bow.

I've made scouting a priority. Not for me, but to put my daughter in the best spot possible to get a crack at something. I'm starting to feel the fire come back to when I was in my prime prior to kids. Life is good and its just going to get better.

I haven't killed a buck in the 125 inch yet. I'VE been close. I have 3 that would score between 110 to 120 class. I'm hoping this is the year.

I envy you guys. I have no problems killing buck that score between 100 and 110, but anything over 110 hasn't happened yet.

That's awesome to hear, I applaud you for your sacrifices and I hope your daughter knocks down a good one!
