For the deer that change up their bedding spots from winter, to spring-summer, when do you think that happens? Once green up starts in the woods?

Most of my observations show the deer starting to come back just before green up.

Once the snow is mostly gone around here, they seem to move back. I think as the fields open up, it exposes more food.

From what i see after they shed they run with does till they start growing again, witch isnt long then they keep that spot until velvet is gone, move areas after rut is over, then move again.

When the yards break up. The bucks go back to more conventional bedding.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
