I have seen that first hand a few times Dan. So now if i see a doe with twin button bucks i try to shoot her. But if she has doe fawns I will shoot a yearling doe just about every time if I'm meat hunting. light weight and easy to clean! And about as good table fair as it gets.

id shoot the doe and know my family would enjoy the meat
