Andre's Flyer and Tuning Fork Bucks?Beds

Unread postby OH nontypical » Thu Feb 20, 2014 1:00 pm

So I watched Andre's two hunts from the Hill Country DVD again last night (Tuning Fork buck and Flyer buck). I really like watching him explain how he likes to mix it up with the deer and refuses to hunt a ghost. Once he located the beds of these two giants their days were numbered. Something he said got me thinking:

He states in the video that he feels the spots those bucks bedded in, and were ultimately killed in, will be producers for many years to come. I am curious if Dan or anyone else knows if he has shot any more giant bucks in or near those beds/spots?

Dan,

I know you have had continued success in many buck bedding spots and wondered if Andre did the same.

That whole DVD rocks!

Its just a matter of time if he continues to grind it out in his IA whitetail paradise.

The more I learn about this the more I'd say heck yes he will. Those giants were giants for a reason...longevity! Now, those bucks were so big it might take a while to get another one that big around, but I'd guess those spots will be used again because of the features they provide in security.
