I had no Intentions of shooting him what so ever. After I spit on him he bumped his rack on my tree pegs then all of a sudden his rack grew In size to me and my heart rate tripled!! He actually got pissed at the tree step and purposely bumped It twice after I spit on his head. Crazy story I know but It's 100% the truth.

i don't spit on the deer. But my very first bowkill buck, I had seen on opening morning of bow season...I dropped acorns on his head. The next time in that stand I saw the same little buck and he came right under my stand again...so I proceeded to drop acorns on his head again.
The third time I sat there and he came in, I stuck him.
he was a small one...and frankly I was concerned with what my brother was going to say about it being so small, but I needed to get some experience under my belt. So I let him have it.
My brother was really happy for me.
