Question about trail camera check frequency

Unread postby NBK438 » Sat Feb 08, 2014 7:13 am

When Andre was after the "flyer buck" he seemed to have been checking his cameras often. How often was he checking his cameras at the time? I'm going to get into the trail camera game a lot more this year. I plan on using creeks and lower impact entrances and exits and plan on using them over mock scrapes just to get a feel of when to start sitting my "rut spots" and collect inventory.

What kind of property? Marsh vs Hills vs Swamp vs open prairie = it makes a difference in how far the deer typically travel bed to food

Public vs Private

Agricultural land vs non = do the deer experience farm equipment and noise in the fields/logging roads vs expansive Northwoods where human encounters are rare
