Hey guys,
I was doing some online scouting and was curious if this land feature is a Thermal Hub or Crow's foot etc? I'm trying to pick out spots like these on topo maps. Anyone tell me if I'm in the Ballpark? Thanks

Re: Thermal Hub Example
Can someone give a quick cliff notes on these features?
I had the Herndon book and the Hill Country/Marsh DVDs, but lost them in my home flood this summer to resource.
Appreciate it!

Re: Thermal Hub Example
I would describe a crows foot as... when a ridge ends with multiple points.
Now these crows feet type points are best when each of the points have bedding. If you can locate a buck trail that connects back together from each of the beds, that should be the spot to hunt. Most likely that will be the staging area.
I COULD BE WRONG with my thought of a crows foot. I know I have read mention of a "high crows foot" I bumped the thread I posted below. Autumn Ninja mentions a high crows foot.

Autumn Ninja describes it really good here with examples.
