Bow holder what do you use?
When hunting private land I use a screw in EZ hang bow holder.
I plan on hunting public land in Wi next season.
I don't think we can use screw in anything.
Just wanted to get some ideas on what beast members haved used.
I don't like the stand holders at all.
Thanks

I use the bow holder on my lone wolf stands. I like the older style with the wolf jaws over the new design.

I use a screw in one on private and that one that bohning makes on public land, it has a bracket you mount to your stand and then a little piece mounts to your bow via stabilizer that slides into it almost like a dovetail. Works slick.

This is what I use on public and MFL land. http://www.lonewolfhuntingproducts.com/ ... _LWUB.aspx
Its not that great but it works in the mean time. I put some stealth strips on the bow hanger hooks to reduce the slipping when the bow adds weight to it.

I have always just held it in my hand or rest the bottom wheel on my boot and hold the top wheel. I've had to many situations where a buck sneeks in and I wouldn't have got him if I had to pull it out of a holder.

I hold my bow pretty much all of the time too. I have to have a hanger there just in case I need to hang it up. I rarely use it.

I try to hold my most of time also.
But there is always a time you have to use both hands.
Like putting on gloves, eating.drinking, just name a few!
Not sure how you can not hang it at sometime

I started using the Thirdhand bow holder 3 or 4 years back and liked it enough I put one on every stand I own.

Works great on my alpha, not as well on the sit and climb.

Just cut a limb off and hang your bow on the stub.
