X2! Mapping Trophy Whitetails is the only really good scouting book.

Most of the finer points are buried in this forum...the greatest book in progress.

I wouldn't recommend Bob's book... That guy is out there.

yeah my Dad had him come to the Northwoods and scout with him.. That guys a tool!! He bought his book and went to his seminar also. I'm not into his techniques..

If you read through this forum diligently you will be hard pressed to find a book that does not pale in comparison to the information readily available to you here…

But I read plenty just for fresh perspective. Most of the finer ones have been mentioned. I am in the middle of two right now that are intriguing;

'Buck Naked' - Jim Collyer

'How to hunt the nocturnal buck' - Dragan Vujic.

Both talk about focusing on the bedding, but seem elementary and lack the depth of Dan's videos.

I think every deer hunter should read 'How to bag the biggest buck of your life' - Larry Benoit. Full of real big buck info and is probably the best 'reading' whitetail buck I have ever read.

Agreed. Great book whether you track or not.
