struggling

Unread postby tim » Wed Dec 18, 2013 4:37 am

ive been at it since 10/26 and have been struggling. ive passed a lot of small stuff. seen my target buck 10/29 and i made the wrong call on him, it was 25mph winds so i hunted on leeward side of hill below (70yds.)my pond and he skirted the top of the hill and went right to my pond---i was going to sit the pond but thought he would come in below it if he came through-mistake. ive got an acre of standing corn on my property in vernon and hope to get up there a couple more weekends and sit near it if sign says to. been a tough year but il be at it till the end of january since i have a metro unit spot i can hunt also.. LOTS of great bucks so far for the beast members--wow!

Keep after it and good things happen.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Some of the best hunting right now, especially if you have the food. Just gotta find the time with the holidays and short days.
