Proud Dad

Unread postby Cuttem Jack » Sun Dec 08, 2013 7:02 pm

My oldest son shot his first deer tonight. He's been out with me about 1/2 dozen times under Pa's mentored youth program and has had about every bit of bad luck thrown his way and his interest level was at the critical point. Well, tonight we went out behind the house to our ground blind and about 1/2 hour later four doe came in. One shot from the .223 dropped this doe at 80 yards or so. After the shot he was fist pumping and afterwards kept saying how happy he was! I think he's finally hooked now. I'm one proud father!! Btw, Tyler's 10.

Great moment for sure. You did good Tyler.
