In my opinion, the Missouri hunt you a few years back was the best hands on hunting thread ever. You took us there and back from the comforts of our couches.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thanks Stanley, and I was snowed in with -0 temps for a week..... :lol:
But when the roads got cleared The Hood brought me a sandwich.....:lol:
It was a great hunting trip.

I do remember that, was thinking a steak dinner. I had lunch with the Hood next year in March.

I was joking, well he did bring me a sandwich.

Then we went out for dinner, later.

That trip and thread was unbelievably awesome.

Cannot be duplicated.

So, it snowed very light yesterday....stopped about sunset.
I went and took a look around the area I posted a sat pic of.
Walked 2/3 of it enough to get an idea of what was going on there.
Cut corn and standing corn.
Picked beans and standing beans.
Cut milo and standing milo.
The standing crops are a few rows around the field edges.

Great looking area.

Not one deer track......passed the corn pile on the way out and no tracks around it.

Found a lone deer track about 10 yards from where I parked.
