9 Days to take this buck and counting.

Unread postby Dhurtubise » Sun Dec 08, 2013 3:22 am

I finally got the giant split towed buck coming through in daylight hours. I decided it's him or no buck this year (minus the last 10 minutes of shooting light of the season).

I'm counting 9 days from today. East wind preferable. December 15th is the last day of my season.

That's an old buck. Guessing 5+, 230 lbs+ dressed and should gross score around mid 130's. Rack may be bigger since it can be deceiving with the large body. Love those bigwoods bucks.

Love the triple split G3! 8-)

That buck is a hog. Good luck with him!

Nice buck I hope you get him.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

5+ year old, 150s for score, and 235 dressed. That is a slob. Wish I could see more heavy chocolate horn slobs like that one. I've only seen them when I use to live NE of Kenora, Ontario

Yep tank about does it, 5+ and probably dresses in the 225 range, scored maybe 135. I suspect this fall he could have dressed closer to 250, that is a big long bodied buck.
