I think this will change how I scout certain properties. There is one public marsh that I hunt that I scouted on winter when we had a fair amount of snow. I couldn't find a track deeper in the marsh to save my life. This probably explains why.
Best time to scout there is after snow melt when the sign is preserved from under the snow.
