Snow!!!

Down in Pepin county for evening post today and got heavy flakes for last 2hrs of light! Stayed on the ground guillie suit style and snuck in along the bottom of a ridge that butts up against a massive cut corn field. Last 10 min had a few does walk out @60yds from me and then a decent 8 comes out and eats. Snuck to within 45 to see if a bigger buck might show. No dice but a great 2hr hunt with heavy snow coming down. Got about 2" and a real slick ride home! Nothing better than getting that first snow bowhunt in! Might head out a.m. but stuck in Chippewa cty for work. The white stuff is on the ground! Yes!

Cool hunt!! A nasty ear ache that came out of no where has me sidelined this morning. Took today and tomorrow off and can't do no hunting. Figures!!
