Minnesota Man Rescues Deer From Frozen Lake

Unread postby bowhunter15 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 12:39 am

So what makes this story cool for me is that I know the guy. I also know the person who filmed it. She is one of my best friend's mom. I've literally spend more time at their house by Duluth over the past 5 years than my own parent's house in WI. The lake is the same one that I used in a timelapse for the bear hunting video this year. Every once in a while a video will pop up of a hunter saving deer from locked antlers or something similar. Always kind of cool.

I guess I am just strange since I like these stories just as much as seeing you guys get the big guys.

I do have to say that doe looked pretty dang happy with that little taxi ride into shore.

Cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Very cool!! We hunters (most of us anyway) have some of the biggest hearts out there.

So I guess they got a phone call from Diane Sawyer and they are potentially putting it on ABC news tonight. That's all I've heard for now.

I am amazed how the deer sat in the canoe and allowed the guy to push her to shore. Very cool.
