Wow
Just want thank everybody for sharing some of what they know on this site! There is really no other site like this one. You guys have made it the best one out there! I was intimidated by the big woods of West Virginia where i hunt. Thankfully, I bought the Hill country and marsh buck DVD's after hearing a lot of good things about both. Those DVD's and this site have made the big woods a lot smaller. It's fun now to walk up a mountain and then go to where bucks bed and watch them in their beds or move in on them just to take a look at their bedroom . I recently discovered how deer love to walk edges. For a time, i noticed Dan and other people on this site kept mentioning edges. Well, after reading Magicman's wonderful thread about edges i started looking for them when scouting on my laptop and in the woods. Man has that paid off! Everything you guys say is spot on. I have the trailcam pics to back it up!!! I hope to add some of those tc pics as well as aerial pics later. Thanks again, Dan, Carol, Mods and everybody else for the most informative deer hunting site on the net. Wow.

Welcome to the Beast.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Wow
This site changed the way I hunt and how I look at everything in the woods. I went from a frustrated hunter who hunted hard and bagged the occasional rut buck to a confident hunter who can get on some of the best public land bucks in my area. Still a long way to go to become as consistent as many of the others on this site but I've come a long long way. There is a steep learning curve with this style of hunting so expect mistakes and don't ever give up, scout harder than you hunt and keep at it and you will find success.
