Can we bow hunt in WI this coming Friday?

Since I'm too lazy to go find my rulebook, I will just ask you guys. Can we archery hunt on Friday, the day before the gun season? I was at the local tavern last night, and whenever I would ask someone, I would get some yes's and some No's..... So I still don't know...... Didn't they also change the law so that we can bow hunt right through gun season now?

Pretty sure the only thing you can hunt is waterfowl.
I don't even think you can sight in your gun unless your at a gun range.

I think you can in the cwd zone. Book says Archery hunting Sept. 14-January 5.

correct...in CWD only can you bowhunt Friday.

Yes but only in the CWD zones. The buck in my avatar was shot on that Friday.

Bump. YES you can bowhunt THIS Friday, ANYWHERE in the state of WI.
(Nov 18th 2016). Those old laws are no longer in place.

I thought YES, and was planning on hunting all day! Correct, You can bowhunt thru gun season (with orange) if so inclined.

Congrats to everyone in WI with the new law changes. Here in RI we Bow hunt from Sept. 15 - Jan. 31 with no breaks for gun season. IDK what I would do if I couldn't lol
