I'm a ninja

Unread postby muddy » Sun Nov 17, 2013 3:35 pm

A doe left her younguns below my tree today while she went off with her boyfriend. I guess she knows that since I'm a responsible stay at home Dad I would look after them for her. Well, I did, but after about 2 hours I needed to get home for some family time. I was only 2 sticks high and managed to get situated with my phone in one hand while climbing down with the other. Don't mind the creaking, that's just my elbow and shoulder joints. The deer was only 2 1/2 steps from my tree, pretty fun.

On a side note, the landowner saw the doe getting dogged all over before I walked out. Hopefully tomorrow she has a big boy with her and they come by! Another side note, been doing a lot of small videos with my phone, I'll do a complete post after I kill something.

X2!
Funny stuff...

I did something similar a few years back when two button bucks and The Mommy came in @ 15-yards.
Button bucks sparred, ate and got cleaned by Mom; then took a nap for 90-minutes.
I was trapped in the tree for 20-minutes after legal and was starving!

Finally I shouted I could kill you mother and flags went everywhere, that was my little way of evacuating the premise.
Still think about it and chuckle...

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Just be glad at that distance she choose "flight" and not "fight!"
