*She looks ready running around with her tail straight out. (Sunday, 11/17/13)
*He was following her like a puppy dog. He looked at me a couple times - he didn't care. He's going to be a nice one if he can survive the rest of the season and the wolf gauntlet.
*I see some cool landscapes in the big woods...
*Thanksgiving 2009 I rattled in a big buck near that yellow tree on the left - up in the woods. He came in from behind so fast to 5 yards I was standing there holding antlers instead of my gun. I didn't get him. Now I think about how buck is going to try to get downwind ... and you're not going to get any warning if they come right in immediately. You can't hear them coming when you're actually still rattling, of course. Some guys up in that area rattle in pairs - one guy calling, one guy watching. Rattling is pretty effective late season rut tactic in that area of Ontario.
