Last time I was out the wind was swirling really bad and it got me thinking... I know scary.
If the wind switches direction for 10 minutes or so how long does your scent stay in that area after the wind switches back? Im sure there are more than a few variables like how far am I concerned about and how strong the scent is, but just in general.

I would say some scent lingers but not nearly as much as if you walked in the same area. If the wind only shifts for a very short time but then goes back in your favor you should be OK unless a deer passes through immediately after.
